9 July 2025:

• I'm back in Europe for the summer, and have recently returned from a climbing trip to Lofoten, Norway.
• Yesterday I attended my PhD graduation ceremony!

29 April 2025:

• I'm happy to announce that I've just started as a postdoctoral fellow in the MacTheoBio group at McMaster University!

12 December 2024:

• I passed my viva with minor corrections! Massive thanks to my supervisors, examiners and convener.

15 October 2024:

• I've submitted my PhD thesis and am preparing for my viva in December!

11 September 2024:

• I'm in the final stretch of writing my PhD thesis before I submit it in mid October.
• I recently presented a chapter of my thesis at the Glasgow Computational Biology Conference and was honoured to receive the "Best Presentation" award!

5 July 2024:

• I'm finishing up my PhD thesis and aiming to submit in early October.
• I will be attending the International Statistical Ecology Conference this month.
• I've just got back from a climbing trip to Chamonix where I did my first alpine routes!
• Recently read: In the Shadow of the Mountain by Silvia Vasquez Lavado.

22 May 2024:

• I'm finishing up my PhD thesis and aiming to submit in early October.
• I've just got back from a climbing trip to Pabbay, and am now preparing for another trip to the Alps.
• I read Freedom Climbers: The Golden Age of Polish Climbing by Bernadette McDonald while away, and I can highly recommend it.
